Why do I need to verify my age?
New Australian online safety requirements mean we need to take steps to ensure members accessing our service are 18 years of age or older.
As part of these requirements, members must complete age verification when creating an account.
Age verification helps us confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement to use our service and helps prevent minors from accessing age-restricted services and content.
You will be guided through the age verification process when creating your account. Simply follow the instructions shown on screen to complete the check.
You will also need to complete Liveness profile verification. Both age verification and profile liveness verification must be successfully completed before your profile can become active.
For the best results:
- Make sure your camera is enabled when requested we recommend doing this on your mobile device
- Make sure your face is clearly visible
- Make sure you have a valid ID with you
- Complete the verification in a well-lit area
- Follow the on-screen instructions carefully
- Don't close or refresh the page while your verification is being processed
